Webinar /// Negotiating PPAs with Commercial and Industrial Energy Users in Latin America
Thursday 4 May, 6-7pm CEST
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WEBINAR WILL TAKE PLACE IN SPANISH
Although over 90% of PV projects built in Latin America have been utility-scale plants, the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment is expected to take a much bigger share in the coming 2 years. Even in markets with high potential, but frustratingly slow growth in the utility scale segment (such as Brazil and Colombia), private PPAs signed directly with commercial and industrial energy users are becoming increasingly common.
In order to explore in greater depth the opportunities and challenges that exist in this segment, we will be joined by experts from Quantum Power and Faro Energy who bring a wealth of experience in the design, development and financing of C&I projects in the region, as well as globally, for a wide variety of end users.
Negotiating PPAs with Commercial and Industrial Energy Users in Latin America
- Overview and outlook of the distributed generation (C&I) market in Latin America
- Opportunities and challenges dealing with commercial and industrial offtakers
- How to efficiently structure a bankable deal to secure project finance
- Types of off-takers with potential for growth in the C&I segment
